BIG HERO 6 ‘DANIEL HENNEY & RYAN POTTER’ INTERVIEW (Video) – Disney’s Oscar-nominated Big Hero 6 is finally coming to Blu-ray and DVD on February 24, and on that note, here’s Ryan Potter and Daniel Henney discussing their favorite characters, their reactions to being nominated, the Asian-American themes, and their hopes for what young audiences can learn from the movie.
Based on the Marvel Comics superhero team, the film centers on Hiro Hamada, a young prodigy who, with his trusty robot Baymax, joins a team of inexperienced crime fighters to protect the citizens of San Fransokyo.
Big Hero 6 is directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams and stars Ryan Potter as Hiro Hamada, Scott Adsit as Baymax, T. J. Miller as Fred, Jamie Chung as GoGo Tomago, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Wasabi, Genesis Rodriguez as Honey Lemon, Maya Rudolph, Alan Tudyk, Daniel Henney, and James Cromwell.

“One of my favorite things about this film is that it inspires people to try things. It’s an easy film to watch even from a very young age, you can get ideas, and I know I had friends who have kids who watched this and they’d come out and be like, ‘Daddy, I want to try this. I want to build Baymax.’ For a young child to say that, it’s pretty amazing, and this film does that – it puts ideas in kid’s heads, so I’m super proud of that.” – Daniel Henney
PLOT: A group of six superheroes are recruited by the government to protect the nation.
